Cycling has been advocated by many governments because it is a healthy and green transportation mode and it helps mitigate traffic congestion. However, compared with vast amounts of works on vehicle flow and pedestrian flow, the bicycle flow study currently lags behind. We have carried out experimental studies on the single-file bicycle flow as well as bicycle flow on 3-meter wide tracks. We have analyzed the spatiotemporal evolution of bicycle flow and found that jams spontaneously form at high densities in both scenarios. We propose models to simulate the bicycle flow, and the simulation results are in agreement with the experiments. Finally, an experimental study on the mixed flow of bicycle flow and pedestrian flow is reported.

個人簡介：
姜銳，北京交通大學意昂2开户教授。主要研究方向是交通流和相關復雜系統。主持了國家自然科學基金重點項目、國家重點研發計劃課題等10余項科研項目🏆。曾獲得教育部自然科學一等獎，安徽省科學技術二等獎，安徽省自然科學優秀論文一等獎。指導的博士論文和碩士論文獲得安徽省優秀博士論文和優秀碩士論文各1 人次🙍🏻。以第一作者或通訊作者在國際權威期刊發表論文80余篇🔛，其中在管理領域和交通領域國際頂級期刊Production and Operations Management🦸🏻、Transportation Science、Transportation Research Part B👔、Transportation Research Part C 和交通領域國際頂級會議International Symposium on Traffic and Transportation Theory (ISTTT) 發表/接收發表論文20余篇🚯。論文被SCI他引4000余次，單篇最高SCI他引700余次💪，H因子38🧑🏼🦰。博士論文入選2005年全國百篇優秀博士論文🧌，2006年入選教育部新世紀優秀人才，2014年獲國家優秀青年科學基金項目👱。
